Working From Home - A Dream Come True or a Complete Nightmare?

Author: Jeff Casmer
Many people do not understand how I make a living, they are either skeptical and feel I dont make enough to support myself or they are unrealistic and think I spend all day checking celebrity gossip and counting my money. I can't blame them of course I used to be both skeptical and unrealistic.
Working from home gives me freedom that most of my friends can only imagine-- sleeping in, no commute, no timed lunch breaks, not having to call in sick, the list could go on for pages.
However, its not all fun and games. You work irregular hours, the competition is fierce, you are not guaranteed a steady income, there is no health plan or benefits and of course the most negative aspect of working online-scams.

You see the ads all the time work from home, live the life youve always dreamed of, earn a six figure income in your pajamas. What some of them should say is, become a slave to your computer, live a life that no one would ever dream of, work your tail of for 60 dollars a month.
But are they all like this? No, of course not, if that were the case no one would be working from home. Determining a scam from a legitimate work at home business starts with research. Whenever you are asked to invest your time and money into something you should make sure its worth it. The trouble is doing this research can take up more time and money with
little or no results.

Here are some quick tips to make it easy:
1. Look for contact information on the website
2. Visit work at home forums and ask people in their forums for a review
3. See if you are willing to put in the time to make it work
4. Dont fall for pictures of fancy cars or even charts of their earnings

However, I noticed that even after I did research I was still skeptical or I got a dazzling review and didnt look twice before leaping. So here's my honest advice, there is no magic product. People looking for a get rich plan find scams. But heres something else to keep in mind every ebook, every ecourse and program will teach you something, even if it is just what to watch out for next time.
The best way to make money online is bring something you enjoy doing and are good at onto the internet. For example if you have a great designers eye then you could start a web design business. Likewise if you are good persuading people to do things then affiliate marketing would be perfect for you.

Knowing your talents is the first step to succeeding online. Being willing to put in the effort is the next. Working online is in no way like working a 9-5 job. Most people think they can just quit their day job and find immediate success. For those that think this way, working from home is a nightmare.
They hop from one opportunity to the next, they fall for every trick in the book, and they never take the time to learn how to really make an online business work.
But for those willing to treat an online venture like any business venture, on that requires patients, a little risk and lot of elbow grease then yes working from home can be a dream.

LOTTERY SCAMS ARE VERY DANGEROUS..!

Yesterday, when I opened my E-mail at yahoo.com, I was surprised by a E-mail with subject "Winning Notification". Because vexed, I do open that E-mail which sent by someone of organization lottery aussie telling that I have won lottery equal to US$ 300,000 dollar because of my E-mail address is joined into lottery.
Damn..That's make me huge shock..! Can you imagine, winning a lottery in dollars...!! but, I have bad feeling about it...how can you win a lottery if you dont feel make any bet or give any information to organization of lottery...So I have to find information at google.com about "is the notification letter" true or not....
then I found one of these at www.fraudaid.com

“ Is anything in the winning notification letter true?

NO. Nothing in the winning notification letter is true. All the letters are sent by people in a fraud cell. A cell is a part of a fraud ring that consists of a few members who work under instructions from the fraud ring leader. The fraud cell works from hotel rooms, back rooms ("boiler" rooms) and Internet Cafes.
If you walk into one of these boiler room, you see a lot of laptop computers and cell phones. Cell phones might be piled on tables or on beds. Each cell phone has a different name taped on the back.
Actually, two names are written there. One is the name of a scam victim, the other is the name of the character the scammer is playing.
That is how each criminal knows what to say on the phone because the lies are based on the victim's name written on the tape and the phony name attached to that phone number.
Each criminal in the fraud cell knows which one of them is corresponding with that particular victim, and knows what part to play. One single criminal in a boiler room can be using as many as 30 different false names and titles.”

Few Ways to Help the Homeless

The world of the homeless seems very far from yours -- but in some ways it is quite near. For any of us, the loss of a job, the death of a spouse or a child, a severe physical disability, family problems, could be the route to total despair. These are the very tragedies that have happened to many homeless people. Struck by personal tragedies, the people in shelters across America, have lost their homes and been deserted by the families and friends they once had. What can you do, personally, to help them? Sometimes the smallest gesture -- and a good attitude -- can go a long way. Below, a few ways to help the homeless, you could tried…..

1. Understand who the homeless are - Help dispel the stereotypes about the homeless. Learn about the different reasons for homelessness, and remember, every situation is unique.
2. Educate yourself about the homeless. A homeless person may be someone who lost their job, a runaway child, or someone with a mental illness. One of the first steps in helping people is to see them as individuals and to find out what they need. Notice them; talk to them. Most are starved for attention.
3. Respect the homeless as individuals - Give the homeless people the same courtesy and respect you would accord your friends, your family, your employer. Treat them as you would wish to be treated if you needed assistance.
4. Respond with kindness - We can make quite a difference in the lives of the homeless when we respond to them, rather than ignore or dismiss them. Try a kind word and a smile.
5. Bring food - It's as simple as taking a few extra sandwiches when you go out. When you pass someone who asks for change, offer him or her something to eat. If you take a lunch, pack a little extra. When you eat at a restaurant, order something to take with you when you leave.
6. Donate clothing - Next time you do your spring or fall cleaning, keep an eye out for those clothes that you no longer wear. If these items are in good shape, gather them together and donate them to organizations that provide housing for the homeless.
7. Help the homeless apply for aid - Governmental aid is available for homeless people, but many may not know where to find it or how to apply. Since they don't have a mailing address, governmental agencies may not be able to reach them. You can help by directing the homeless to intermediaries, such as homeless organizations, that let them know what aid is available and help them to apply for it. If you want to be an advocate or intermediary for the homeless yourself, you can contact these organizations as well.

12 mistakes affiliates make - and how to fix them

By Allan Gardyne | Published 04/8/2004

Affiliates struggling to earn $100 a month often find it hard to believe that other people could possibly earn as much as $10,000 or even $100,000 a month in commissions.
Believe it. Big commissions do happen. And you can expect to hear about even bigger commissions.
Forrester Research predicts that affiliate programs and affiliate networks will produce $280 billion annually in e-commerce sales by 2008.
In most programs, 5% of the affiliates generate the vast majority of the sales. If you're not in that 5% and want to be, you'll have to change what you're doing.
Here are 12 mistakes you could be making, and how to fix them.

1. Are you telling people how to make money on the Internet when you don't know how yourself?

Perhaps - just perhaps - you can succeed at this, but it's the most obvious trap into which new affiliates fall. You join a few affiliate programs and set up a site offering Internet marketing tips, work-from-home tips, instant-business tips, or be-your-own-boss tips.
The advantages of doing this include having great products to promote, high commissions and lots of help from Internet marketers.
However, if you do this, you face two massive challenges.
1. You'll have hundreds of thousands of web pages out there competing with yours.
2. You're competing with the planet's best marketing EXPERTS. Some of the brightest brains in Internet marketing are working full-time to grab the attention of your target audience.
I'm not saying you can't succeed in this field, but if you're new to affiliate programs, this is definitely NOT the best place to begin. If you're struggling, find a less well traveled path.
You don't have to abandon your existing website. Just launch a new one based on a new theme. Later, when you've learned more and really have something to offer, it will be time to revamp your marketing tips site.

What to look for in a used car - Tyres

by Andrew

When purchasing a second hand car it is handy to know different areas of the vehicle to check. In this article we will look at tyres, those all important round things that are the only things keeping you on the road.

Tread depth
The amount of tread left on the tyres will let you know how long till they will likely need replacing and also about the driver of the car. If the tyres are bald then it could be a sign that the car is driven hard or that the owner of the vehicle does not care about maintainence of the car. Tyres can be quite expensive to replace, so if they look like they are getting low on tread, factor this into the price you are willing to pay for the vehicle.

Tyre size
Are the size of the tyre fitted to the car legal? In some locations there are restrictions on the size of tyre that can be fitted to particular cars. Check that the tyres on the car are within legal guidelines.

Tyre pressure
Once you buy a car make sure that the tyres have the correct pressure in them. There should be a sticker in one of the front doors or glovebox which states the correct inflation pressure for the car. If the pressure is low it can adversely affect the handling of the car. If it is too high it can cause the tyres to wear in the middle.

Tyres are important and should be looked after with regular inspection for damage and to ensure that they are correctly balanced.

The Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet - How To Do It Right

Vegetarianism has long been considered an effective way to lose weight, and for good reason. In a nutshell, vegetables have fewer calories, less fat, and more nutrients compared to processed meats. Celebrities who went vegetarian showed dramatic weight loss, and those who tried it for even a few days felt generally healthier.
But as with any weight loss plan, a vegetarian weight loss diet has its risks and benefits. Before trading that steak for a salad, it’s important to know the pros and cons. Here’s a quick guide to help you out.

Weight loss benefits
Several studies have shown that vegetarians are far less likely to become obese than meat eaters. In Western countries, vegetarians have lower blood cholesterol and body mass index (BMI). But people on a vegetarian weight loss diet enjoy several other health benefits. They have a lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and other conditions linked to excess weight. A study of Seventh Day Adventists, a religious group that practices vegetarianism, shows that members had half as much risk of high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis, and various cancers.

How it works
So why are vegetables so effective for weight loss? It’s mostly because meat and animal products contain fewer preservatives, calories and saturated fats—the primary causes of unhealthy weight gain. On the other hand, fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants, which eliminate the free radicals that cause cell death and lead to disease. They are also rich in fiber and juice, which makes them more filling. A vegetarian weight loss diet doesn’t require you to starve yourself—you can eat normal servings and still get fewer calories than you would from a meat-based meal.

Some risks
Of course, vegetables can’t provide you with everything you need. One of the main concerns about the vegetarian weight loss diet is that there aren’t enough sources of protein. Most vegetarians get their protein from beans, tofu and legumes. But while these are excellent food sources, their protein content is not as easily absorbed by the body as those that come from meat. If you’re combining your vegetarian weight loss diet with an exercise regimen (which you should), consider taking protein supplements or consuming more vegetable proteins.

Types of vegetarianism
You don’t have to give up all animal foods to enjoy the benefits of a vegetarian weight loss diet. In fact, if you have certain health problems, your doctor may recommend some modifications. Vegetarianism is divided into several subtypes depending on which foods are restricted. Some of the most common are the following:

Semi-vegetarian: A semi-vegetarian weight loss diet rules out all red meat such as beef, pork, and lamb, but allows fish and poultry. Dairy products are also included.
Pesco-vegetarian: This diet prohibits all animal products, except fish and seafood. Some also allow eggs and dairy, although it’s more often a personal choice.
Lacto-vegetarian: Meat, poultry and eggs are prohibited; the only animal products allowed are milk and dairy.
Lacto-ovo vegetarian: This is the most common type of vegetarian weight loss diet. It only prohibits animal meats, but allows by-products such as animal oils, milk, eggs, and dairy.
Vegan: Described as “pure” vegetarianism, vegan diets prohibit all animal products. Vegans are not so much health buffs as they are animal rights advocates. As such, they also stay away from non-food products such as leather and fur. Read labels Just because you’re a vegetarian doesn’t mean you’re consuming less fat. The way you prepare your vegetables greatly affects their nutritional value. What good is a low-fat vegetable salad if you slather it with a creamy dressing? To get the most out of your vegetarian diet, you still need to read the labels and watch your fat intake.

Watch your iron
Plant-based iron is different from animal iron. The former is less easily absorbed by the body, so vegetarians are usually prone to anemia. To increase iron absorption, combine iron-rich foods such as nuts, beans and legumes with vitamin C-rich ones like oranges, strawberries and tomatoes. The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for iron is 12 to 15 mg daily. The same goes for calcium: you can compensate for the lack of dairy-based calcium by eating fortified cereals, eggs, milk, and cheese.

Kelangkaan Minyak Tanah...

Only for melayu readers

Fakta yang harus diterima :
1. Minyak Tanah saat ini menjadi barang langka. Jikalaupun ada harganya tinggi
2. Harga pasaran minyak mentah dunia tinggi
3. Terjadinya global warming akibat dari pembakaran sumber alam berbasis fosil yang terus menerus.
4. Cadangan minyak indonesia yang semakin menipis
5. Pemerintah menggalakkan migrasi minyak tanah ke gas elpiji.
6. Supply gas elpiji terus diperbanyak.

Global worming has been ongoing in the history of the earth

In his book titled "Unstoppable Global Warming; every 1500 years", S. Fred Singer and Dennis Avery write that gobal warming has been ongoing every 1,500 years. The gobal warming that has everyone excited is caused by activities of the sun over which mankind has now control.

He cites gobal warming that was higher 2000 years ago, for example, when there did not exist the current industrialiation and auto industry to produce the greenhouse gases seen as causing the problem. He also notes that when the Vikings explored Greenland, it was free of snow and presented a lush green landscape as the reason is was called "Greenland"

In elenmetary school in the 1940s, I was taught that the Northern tier of the United 'States was once buried under several hungred feet of ice as far south as Southern Iowa. Then, waming occured to melt the ice and caused the ice sheet to retreat. A recent PBS program showed how people coming from Europe crossed the Bering Strait on a "land bridge" to the North American continent, and skirted the ice sheet to populate the North Amecerican continent where there was not the industrialization as today.

A bit of reading and reasearch will reveal the perceptual fallacy of global warming as a problem creating by functional illiterates who do not bother to read, and thing for themselves
